Shine Marketing is a new and rapidly expanding online marketing agency, based in Hampton Wick close to Kingston upon Thames. We provide website design & build, as well as online marketing skills for SME businesses, particularly for the retail sector, and also manage a number of our own online media properties.

Suitability

The ideal candidate will be creative, forward thinking, organized, process driven and an excellent communicator as the role incorporates creating designs for smaller web projects, the conversion to CSS, and integration with our CMS as well as needing to communicate with both our customers and suppliers.

They will definitely need the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment to strict deadlines.  A passion for all things online and a desire to see their work at play improving other people's businesses is a must.

They will have 2+ years experience in a similar role.  Experiences working in an existing client-side, agency or freelance role and a desire to work on a wide range of projects and develop your career within a rapidly growing agency.

The candidate will be working within a team comprising a project manager, developer’s, copywriters and at times brand designers plus additional experts in online marketing and will receive support from the highly experienced online marketing professionals.

Job Description

The role will be to assist the Client Services Manager in the delivery of web projects to an agreed specification.  Initially the role will be very flexible with a great deal of scope and will include but is not limited to the following:

  • The design and build of client websites ensuring strong functionality and optimization.
  • Ability to understand a client’s brand values and image and reflect those in website designs that are both attractive and useful to the user.
  • You will be supported by the relevant technical staff in the final integration of your designs and XHTML/CSS coding with our content management system but the ability to deliver smaller projects alone is a mid-term objective
  • Your role will incorporate both client and supplier liaison and so experience of communicating politely and succinctly by email and phone is a must.
  • Occasional support for small print-based projects

Job Requirements

  • Creative and graphic design skills suitable for the creation of websites with a strong focus on achieving business objectives such as making sales or prompting business leads.
  • Excellent XHTML, CSS, and Javascript, ability to create website which function in all popular current web browsers and adhere to W3C standards of coding and accessibility,
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PHP and ASP are not vital but would give you an advantage. 
  • Experience in use of Fireworks, Photoshop and appropriate coding tools.
  • A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in small teams  with loosely defined roles.
  • Excellent client communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to deadlines on multiple projects, including keeping others informed of your progress
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and use of email and other personal productivity software (MS Office suite)

9am-5.30pm with 1 hour lunch

£21,000- £25,000
